Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200c. Grease and line a square 20cm tin with baking parchment.
Melt the butter in the microwave or in a small pan. Whisk in the sugar and vanilla.
Beat the egg lightly and then whisk it into the butter and sugar mixture.
Add the flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, salt and chocolate chips. Fold into the butter and sugar mixture.
Pour in the mixture into the prepared tin. Bake in the oven at about 200c for 20 minutes.
