Instructions
Sift the flour, salt and bicarbonate of soda into a bowl.
In another bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla. Add the egg and mix in thoroughly.
Add the flour in about three batches to the bowl with the sugar mixture. Each time mix in thoroughly.
Chop the chocolate into chips and then stir into the cookie mixture.
Line a baking tray with baking parchment. Spoon the mixture onto the tray with enough space for each cookie to expand.
Bake in the oven at about 180C for about 12 minutes
