This moist cinnamon apple cake is perfect as an afternoon snack. You can also enjoy it warm as a dessert with cream or ice cream.

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°c
Put 100g sugar, the butter, vanilla extract and cream cheese in a bowl and beat together. Then add the eggs, one at a time and beat after each one.
Sift the flour, salt and baking powder and then add to the wet mixture. Beat until combined.
Mix the cinnamon and soft brown sugar together.
Stir half of the cinnamon mixture into the apples. Add the apples to the cake batter.
Line the bottom of a 20cm cake tin with baking parchment and coat the sides with oil or butter. Spoon the batter into the cake tin.
Sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon sugar mixture on top of the cake.
Bake in the oven at 180C for an hour to an hour and 15 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack.
