I have to admit that although I think of myself as a morning person, being creative at breakfast time does not normally happen. Almost every morning I have coffee and toast. I even have the same thing on my toast: Cream cheese.
I like it. It's easy and I can eat it while focusing on getting everyone else ready for the day.
However, it's probably not the healthiest breakfast. I eat more fruit and vegetables at lunch and dinner and I realised I needed to add some to my morning routine too!
So, recently, I've been trying out four different Ocean Spray cranberry juices and discovered just how good they are. They're not too sweet, but really tasty and I definitely feel healthier just by making that small change at breakfast time. And I still have time to get everyone ready for school!

The four Ocean Spray juices I've tried include:
- Ocean Spray Cranberry Classic Juice Drink
- Ocean Spray Cranberry & Apple Juice Drink (NEW!)
- Ocean Spray Cranberry & Raspberry Juice Drink
- Ocean Spray Cranberry No Added Sugar Juice Drink
At first I was just enjoying these drinks by themselves. Cranberry juice is a great way to get the day off to a good start. However, I have mentioned in previous posts how much I love smoothies with ginger in. So it was only natural that I add some ginger to a cranberry smoothie. As I said, I don't do complicated recipes at breakfast and this Ocean Spray cranberry smoothie is about as easy as it gets.
What Ingredients are in this Ocean Spray Cranberry smoothie?
I've kept this smoothie recipe really simple. There are just three ingredients! I've used Ocean Spray of course, plus oranges and fresh root ginger.
Oranges and cranberries are classic combination and go brilliantly together. Ginger also pairs well with cranberries and oranges and gives this smoothie the fiery ginger kick that I love so much!

If you're looking to add something simple to your diet to make it just that little bit healthier then you can't go wrong with Ocean Spray cranberry juice. It's high in antioxidants and vitamin C which is great for the immune system. It's also free from preservatives, artificial colours and artificial flavours.

You can increase your 5 a day by grating an apple into the oats too!

At the moment the New Ocean Spray Cranberry & Apple Juice Drink is only available in Tesco.

Ingredients
- 400 ml Ocean Spray Cranberry Classic Juice Drink
- 2 oranges Peeled
- 7 g root ginger
- Ice cubes Optional
