Main Meals Recipes
Most of the recipes on Searching for Spice are for healthy main meals. Within this category there are subcategories for chicken, beef, pork, lamb, vegetarian as well as salads, soups, curries and pasta recipes.
Most of the recipes are fairly healthy including lots of vegetables. They are also on the whole easy to prepare making them perfect as midweek meals. They are usually quick as well so you're got more time to focus on other things.
I love spices and exploring recipes from other cultures so you can find lots of recipes that use spices. However, that doesn't mean they are packed with chillies! As a mother, I go for flavour and recipes that are family friendly and good for children too.
If it is a really hot recipe, I'll include ways of varying the heat to make it suitable for everyone in the family. Not all the recipes are spicy though.
