Sweet Treats Deserts and Snacks

Who doesn't love sweet treats every now and again? Most of the recipes here on Searching for Spice and healthy and savoury.

However, I love sweet treats too. I especially love making frozen desserts in summer and making biscuits for my children. Although I want my children to eat healthily, they are hungry after school and need to eat something. I love making homemade snacks that will keep them going until dinner time.

If you are trying to eat healthily most of the time, then homemade sweet recipes are often a lot healthier than bought alternatives.

I can't claim that a lot of these recipes are healthy but there are some that contain no processed sugar. I don't use huge amounts of sugar and many recipes are sweet but not overly so!
